Jedním z nejpoužívanějších izolačních materiálů dnešní doby je minerální vata. Podobně jako tomu bylo u dříve používaného azbestu ani u minerální skelné vaty nejsou zcela známé zdravotní dopady při vdechování jejích částic. Cílem bakalářské práce je shrnout teoretické poznatky týkající se transportu aerosolů a jejich depozice v dýchacích cestách člověka a získat a statisticky zhodnotit experimentální data z vizualizace proudění vláken minerální vaty v trubici připomínající dýchací cesty člověka. Tato data mohou napomoci lepšímu porozumění vztahu mezi působením částic skelných vláken a možným dopadem na lidské zdraví. One of the most used insulation materials of our time is mineral wool. As with formerly used asbestos, not all the health impacts of mineral wool fibers inhalation are known. The aim of this thesis is to gather findings relating to the transport of aerosols, their deposition in human airways and to obtain and statistically evaluate experimental data from the visualization of fibres in the glass tube resembling human airways. This data can improve understanding of the relation between glass fibres action and possible health hazard.
