Uvedená diplomová práce se zabývá vypracováním plánu rozvoje společnosti QUANTUM, a.s. působící na trhu s elektřinou v ČR. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na problematiku rozvoje firem a procesu strategického řízení, včetně popisu vybraných analytických metod používaných v rámci uvedené problematiky. Analytická část práce obsahuje praktickou aplikaci vybraných metod analýzy podnikatelského prostředí společnosti s cílem identifikovat klíčové faktory ovlivňující podnik. Na základě výsledků je následně zvolena vhodná alternativa rozvoje dané firmy. Návrhová část obsahuje rozpracování vybrané varianty rozvoje, která povede k upevnění pozice na trhu s elektřinou v ČR. Součástí návrhů je také analýza potenciálních rizik a zhodnocení přínosů z navrhovaných změn. The dissertation target was to define the strategical concept of the company QUANTUM development. The company QUANTUM is the trader with the commodity of electricity operating the Czech Republic market. The theoretical part of the dissertation targets at the item of the company development and the process of the strategical management. There is the analytical methodology defined as well. The analytical part of the dissertation defines the practical implementation of the analytical concepts of the business environment of the company with the aim to define the impact factors influencing the company. The strategical concept of the business development of the company was defined and implemented due to the conclusion of the analysis with the aim to maintain the competitive position of the company in the Czech energy market. The definition of the strategy implementation reacts at the analysis of the defined threats and opportunities and the evaluation of the risks.
