Práce se zabývá dětmi a rodiči v rozvodu. Cílem práce je identifikovat, jaké nesnáze prožívali mladí dospělí v době rozvodu rodičů, kdy byly dětmi (mladší školní věk). Teoretická část je dělena do dvou kapitol a zabývá se manželstvím, rodinou a jejími funkcemi. Ve druhé kapitole je v souladu s odbornou literaturou popsán rozvod, rozvodovost v České republice a její příčiny, dále dopady rozvodu na rodiče a na děti a také role sociálního pracovníka v této oblasti. Praktickou část tvoří kvalitativní výzkum a data, která byla sebrána za pomoci metody dotazování. Polostrukturovaný rozhovor byl realizován se šesti informanty, kteří mají ze svého dětství osobní zkušenost s rozvodem rodičů. Data byla zpracována prostřednictvím otevřeného kódování a zpracováním těchto kódů a kategorií bylo možné zodpovědět výzkumné otázky práce. Těmi bylo jednak identifikovat nesnáze, se kterými se informanti setkali, a jednak zjistit, kde a u koho nacházeli sociální oporu během rozvodu a v době po něm. The thesis deals with children and parents during divorce. The main goal is to identify the problems that young adults faced in their childhood during the divorce of their parents. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters and it concerns marriage, family and its function. The second part is based on specialized literature and it describes divorce, divorce rate in the Czech Republic and its cause, further impacts of divorce on parents, children and also the role of social workers in this matter. The practical part is created by the qualitative research and data that were collected by the method of interviewing. The semistructured interview was done with the six respondents who exeperienced divorce of their parents during childhood. The data were analyzed by open coding and by processing of these codes and categories it was possible to answer the hypothesis of this work. It concerned the identification of problems that respondents dealt with, and also the determination of people who provided them with social support during and after the divorce.
