česky: Tato práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí, z nichž první se zabývá ruskou historií v letech 1914-1920, počínaje příčinami dané situace. Zajímá se také o osobnost Jana Syrového a jeho působení při tzv. Sibiřské anabázi v letech 1914-1920, v době první světové války, občanské války v Rusku až k jeho přesunu do přístavu ve Vladivostoku a návratu do Československa. Spolu s postavou Syrového se věnuje také názorům a pohledům jeho kolegů, vrstevníků a dalších, kteří s ním přišli do styku. Hlavními zdroji byly archivní materiály (časopisy, dopisy) a také novější literatura. Pro lepší představu o době byly použity ohlasy v dobovém tisku. in english: This thesis is separated into two main parts where the first one is concerned with Russian history in the years 1914-1920, starting with the causes of the situation. Afterward, it is also interested in the personality of Jan Syrový and his work at the so-called Siberian Anabasis in 1914-1920, during the First World War, the civil war in Russia and his move to the port in Vladivostok and return to Czechoslovakia. Along with the Raw character, he also addresses the views and views of his colleagues, peers, and others who have come into contact with him. Archived materials (magazines, letters) and also more lately literature served as the main sources. For a better idea of the time, the responses in the press were used.
