Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na rozvoj a konkurenceschopnost malého podniku v České republice. Cílem je zhodnocení současné situace ve vybraném podniku, posouzení jeho konkurenceschopnosti a návrh možností dalšího rozvoje. Teoretická část obsahuje vysvětlení a definice základních pojmů souvisejících s problematikou malých podniků, vnitřních a vnějších strategií a konkurenceschopnosti. Současný stav podniku je znázorněn pomocí SWOT analýzy, STEP analýzy a Porterova modelu pěti sil. Pro sběr dat se používají polostrukturované rozhovory s ředitelem podniku a dalšími zaměstnanci. Dalším krokem je nalezení konkurentů, kteří by mohli ohrozit podnik a posoudit jeho konkurenceschopnost. Poté následuje návrh řešení dalšího rozvoje podniku. This bachelor thesis is focused on the development and competitiveness of a small business in the Czech Republic. The aim is to evaluate the current situation in the selected company, assess its competitiveness and to propose solution for further development. The theoretical part consists of explanations and definitions of basic terms related to this topic such as characteristic of small businesses, internal and external strategies and competitiveness. The current state of the company is depicted by means of SWOT analysis, STEP analysis and Porter´s model of five forces. For data collecting are used semi-structured interviews with company´s director and other employees. The next step is to find competitors who could threaten the company and assess its competitiveness. This is followed by the proposal for solution of further development.
