V práci je podán stručný přehled o řešení problematiky přípravy, slinování a aplikací hexagonálního nitridu boritého v ČR od r.1979. Jedná se o materiál s unikátní kombinací vlastností elektrického izolátoru a současně dobrého teplotního vodiče, s minimální teplotní délkovou roztažností. V neoxidujícím prostředí je nitrid boritý stabilní až do teploty 2700°C. In the paper brief overview of preparation, sintering and application of the hexagonal boron nitride in Czech Rep. since 1979 is provided. This material exhibits a unique combination of electrical insulation with good thermal conductor, also with minimal thermal expansion. In the non-oxidative environment hexagonal boron nitride ceramics is stable up to 2700°C.
