Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem využití aktivizačních technik při práci s osobami trpícími demencí. První část práce je věnována tématu demence, jejímu vymezení, typům demence a jednotlivým fázím při Alzheimerově chorobě. Další část práce popisuje základní potřeby člověka a také potřeby nemocného člověka. Poslední a hlavní část se zabývá aktivizačními technikami v sociální práci s lidmi s demencí a odpovídá na otázku, jak činnost aktivačních technik naplňuje potřeby člověka. Aktivizační techniky jsou zde rozděleny do tří skupin, podle toho, na které schopnosti člověka nejvíce působí. Jsou to mentální, fyzické a senzorické schopnosti člověka. Do skupiny technik aktivizujících mentální schopnosti patří kognitivní rehabilitace, reminiscenční terapie a biografie. Techniky fyzické aktivizace zahrnují animoterapii, expresní terapii, ergoterapii a kinezioterapii. Skupina technik pro aktivizaci smyslových schopností zahrnuje například aromaterapii a bazální stimulaci. Cílem této práce je ukázat důležitost jednotlivých technik v práci jako nezbytný doplněk k farmakologické léčbě klientů s demencí a také zkoumat, zda aktivizační techniky mohou uspokojit všechny potřeby člověka. The bachelor thesis deals with the use of activation techniques in working with people with dementia. The first part is devoted to the topic of dementia, its definition, types of dementia and individual stages of Alzheimer's disease. Another part describes the basic needs of a person and the needs of a sick person. The last and main part deals with the activation techniques in the social work with people with dementia and answers the question how the action of activation techniques meet the needs of the human being. Activation techniques are divided into three groups, depending on for which human abilities are most effective. These are the mental, physical and sensory capacities of human. The group of techniques for activating mental capabilities include cognitive rehabilitation, reminiscence therapy, and biography.Physical activation techniques include animotherapy, expression therapy, ergotherapy and kinesiotherapy. The group of techniques for activating sensory capabilities include, for example, aromatherapy and basal stimulation. The aim of this work is to show the importance of individual techniques in work as an essential supplement to the pharmacological treatment of clients with dementia and also to examine whether activation techniques can satisfy all human needs.
