Induction heating of aluminum billets by their rotation in uniform magnetic field represents a modern technology whose purpose is to soften these workpieces before their hot forming. The paper presents a coupled integrodifferential model of the process that is used for the computation of a typical example. Indukční ohřev hliníkových ingotů jejich rotací v homogenním magnetickém poli představuje moderní technologii, jejímž cílem je změkčit tyto ingoty pře jejich tvarováním za tepla. Příspěvek představuje sdružený integrodiferenciální model tohoto procesu, jenž je užit pro výpočet typického příkladu.
