Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá současnou situaci tlumočení mezi češtinou a českým znakovým jazykem v prostředí středních škol pro sluchově postižené v České republice z pohledu tlumočníků, kteří v těchto školách v současné době působí. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. V teoretické části se nejprve věnuje rozboru dostupné české i zahraniční odborné literatury, která se týká tlumočení mezi mluvenými a znakovými jazyky ve školství. Dále analyzuje související národní i nadnárodní legislativu. Na základě toho vznikl výzkum, který byl realizován ve dvou krocích. Prvním bylo dotazníkové šetření, ve kterém tlumočníci reflektovali situaci na svém pracovišti (podmínky přijetí, podporu ve vzdělávání, náplň práce apod.) a popsali, jak by si své pracovní podmínky představovali v ideálním případě. Druhým krokem byly polostrukturované rozhovory zaměřené zejména na průběžné vzdělávání tlumočníků a jejich náplň práce. Tyto rozhovory rozvíjí, konkretizují a usouvztažňují některé výsledky dotazníkového šetření. Cílem výzkumu je zmapovat současnou situaci na co největším počtu středních škol pro sluchově postižené a porovnat: a) zkušenosti dotazovaných tlumočníků, b) zkušenosti dotazovaných tlumočníků s jejich ideálními představami. This bachelor's thesis examines the current situation of interpreting between Czech and Czech Sign Language in the environment of secondary schools for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, from the viewpoint of interpreters who are currently employed at these schools. The thesis consists of two parts. In the theoretical part, it firstly analyses available Czech and international literature that is related to interpreting between spoken and sign languages in education. Furthermore, the thesis analyses the national and supranational legislation that is related to this issue. Based on this, a study was conducted. This study consisted of two steps. The first step was questionnaire survey, in which interpreters reflected on the situation in their workplace (requirements for taking up employment, further educational support, work responsibilities etc.) and described how they imagine their ideal work conditions. The second step were semi-structured interviews and focused predominantly on continuing education of interpreters and their work responsibilities. These interviews expand on, specify and contextualise some of the results of the questionnaire survey.
