Práce popisuje barokní poměry ve společnosti, dobovou interpretační praxi, souvislost mezi řečí a hudbou. Zaměřuje se na oblast barokní symboliky, význam intervalů a tónin v kompozicích barokních skladatelů. Obsahuje encyklopedický výčet hudebně rétorických figur. The thesis describes baroque social conditions, contemporary interpretation practise, connection between speech and music. The thesis focuses on the area of the Baroque symbolism, the meaning of intervals and tonalities. Also contains an encyclopedic overview of musical rhetorical figures.
