The contribution informs about a contemporaneous depth profile determination of both, the macro/ and microscopic residual stresses insurface layers. The results obtained indicate that depth distributions of both the quantities in surface layers are dissimilar. Příspěvek informuje o současném stanovení hloubkových profilů makroskopických a mikroskopických zbytkových napětí v povrchových vrstvách. Získané výsledky ukazují, že hloubková rozložení obou zmíněných veličin se liší.
