Confocal scanning laser microscopy (CLSM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) were applied to study surface relief within persistent slip markings (PSMs) in cast nickel-base superalloy Inconel 713LC cyclically strained under strain control at room temperature. The PSM topography with the shape and size of extrusions and intrusions and their evolution during cycling is documented. Isolated peak-like intrusions and hilly extrusions indicate that the cyclic plastic strain is non-uniformly distributed in persistent slip bands. Surface relief data obtained with both high-resolution techniques are compared. Konfokální rastrovací laserová mikroskopie (CLSM) a atomová rastrovací mikroskopie (AFM) byly použity pro studium povrchového reliéfu uvnitř perzistentních skluzových stop (PSS) u lité niklové superslitiny Inconel 713LC cyklicky zatěžované za pokojové teploty v režimu řízené deformace. Práce dokumentuje topografii PSS, tvar a velikost extruzí a intruzí a jejich vývoj během zatěžování. Výskyt izolovaných intruzí ve tvaru tenkých jazyků a kopcovitých extruzí naznačuje, že cyklická plastická deformace není rozložena v materiálu rovnoměrně, ale je lokalizována do perzistentních skluzových pásů. Výsledky studia povrchového reliéfu získané oběma uvedenými technikami s vysokým rozlišením jsou porovnány.
