První část bakalářské práce se zabývá historií města Hostouň a stručným představením majitelů panství. Dále je práce zaměřena na historii dominanty První část bakalářské práce se zybývá historií města Hostouň a stručným představením majitelů panství. Dále je práce zaměřena na historii dominanty města, kterou je kostel sv. Jakuba Staršího. Ve stručnosti jsou popsány i památky, které jsou, nebo v minulosti byly součástí fary. Hlavním tématem této práce je ikonografický popis nástěnných maleb v interiéru kostela. Hlavním záměrem je seznámení s opomenutým kostelem Českého lesa. The first part of the bachelor´s thesis deals with the history of the city Hostouň and there is a brief introduction of the manor owners. Next part of the thesis focuses on the history of the city dominant - church of St. James the Greater. Monuments which are or were the parts of the rectory are mentioned in brief. The main topic of the thesis is an iconographic description of murals in the church interiors.The main purpose of the work is to introduce the forgotten church in Bohemian forest.
