The main objective of the study presented here is to compare the results obtained from numerical simulations and experimental measurements of the transonic flow through the 2-D model of the male rotor-housing gap in a dry screw compressor for several clearance throat dimensions and pressure ratios. Cílem presentované studie je pororvnání výsledků experimentu a numerického modelování transsonického proudění ve 2-D modelu mezery mezi šroubem a skříní šroubového kompresoru pro několik rozměrů těsnící mezery a pro několik tlakových spádů.
