Práce si klade za cíl srozumitelně představit systém sociálních služeb dostupných pro osoby se zdravotním postižením a na základě sběru dat od uživatelů těchto služeb ověřit jejich využívání, dostupnost a kvalitu. První kapitola práce zpracovává historický vývoj sociálních služeb a vymezuje pojem zdravotní postižení. Druhá kapitola se zabývá současnou právní úpravou sociálních služeb a třetí kapitola navazuje rozborem příspěvku na péči. Čtvrtá kapitola uvádí jednotlivé sociální služby, definuje, co je jejich účelem, a uvádí příklady registrovaných poskytovatelů. Od páté kapitoly dále je zpracován kvantitativní šetření, který se zaměřuje na jednu ze skupin zdravotně postižených - na zrakově postižené. Skrze vyhodnocení sebraných dat formou dotazníku se zodpovídají položené výzkumné otázky týkající se využívání, dostupnosti a kvality sociálních služeb. Práce zdůrazňuje autonomii a ochranu uživatele služeb skrze povinnosti, které poskytovatel musí plnit. Práce prokazuje, že sociální služby a jejich registrovaní poskytovatelé jsou vnímáni pozitivně a že péče poskytovaná osobami blízkými v domácím prostředí je nejžádanější. The objective of this work is the clear introduction to the system of social care for the people with disabilities. Usage, accessibility and quality of the social care system is verified by the survey. In the first chapter, historical development of the social care is presented. Also, there is the definition of a disability. Today's legislation is discussed in the second chapter. Analysis of the care allowance is discussed in the third chapter. In the fourth chapter, multiple social services are defined. Also, examples of registered providers are listed in the chapter four. The quantitative research is introduced in the fifth chapter. Four hypothesis concerning accessibility and quality of the social care are confirmed by visually impaired respondents of survey. The autonomy and the protection of the social care users by rules for providers is emphasized. This work proves that the social care and registered providers are perceived positively. It is also confirmed that the care provided by the close person is the most desired one.
