Španělští vyslanci referovali o svatbě do Madridu ve svých dopisech, zmiňovaných historiky, ale přesto zůstala tato událost na pokraji zájmu nebo zcela opomenuta ve studiích o Filipovi II. a Maxmililánovi II. Španělská Národní knihovna uchovává dvě verze anonymní rukopisné zprávy, která velmi detailně popisuje oblečení hlavních aktérů. Spanish ambassadors reported the ceremony in their letters to Madrid, published by historiopgraphers, yet this event. remains marginalized or omitted in the studies about Philipp II and Maximilian II. The National Library of Spain keeps two versions of anonymous handwritten reports, which describe in detail clothing of main participants.\n
