Práce se zabývá kulturními, sociálními a politickými událostmi v USA v průběhu 60. let. Zkoumá míru vzájemného ovlivňování těchto událostí s rockovou a populární hudbou. Definuje hudbu jako nezbytnou složku opoziční kultury a protiválečných hnutí. Dále se práce zaměřuje na konkrétní organizace a skupiny, které pořádaly početné demonstrace a pochody. Pozornost je věnována samotným hudebním interpretům, kteří skrz texty a hudbu varovali před vládní propagandou, pronásledováním a nespravedlností. Práce vykresluje změnami obsáhlá 60. léta v USA jako zdroj inspirace a ponaučení pro další generace. Praktická část obsahuje přípravu na hodinu anglického jazyka pro devátou třídu základní školy, kde je žákům přiblíženo kulturní a sociální pozadí. Téma spadá do průřezových témat základního vzdělávání, které mimo jiné, nejvíce naplňuje cíle multikulturní výchovy. Snaží se, aby si žáci uvědomili své kulturní a sociální hodnoty. Zároveň je navádí ke zvídavosti a toleranci k jiným rasám, národům a kulturním odlišnostem. Příprava na hodinu je umístěna na Metodický portál RVP.CZ sloužící jako zdroj inspirace pro ostatní učitele a pedagogy. The thesis deals with the cultural, social and political events in the USA during the 1960s. It examines the degree of interaction of these events with rock and pop music. It defines music as an essential part of counterculture and anti-war movements. In addition, the work focuses on specific organizations and groups that took part in numerous demonstrations and marches. Attention is given to the musicians who warned people about government propaganda, persecutions and injustice. The thesis reflects the changes during the 1960s in the USA as a source of inspiration for the next generations. The practical part contains a preparation for an English lesson for the ninth grade of elementary school. It introduces cultural and social background. Several topics of multicultural education, which is part of the elementary cross curriculum education, are included in this bachelor thesis. It focuses on awareness of pupils' cultural and social values. At the same time, it leads them to be curious and tolerant to different race, nations and cultural diversity. The lesson is uploaded on the methodical website RVP.CZ, where it can serve as an inspiration for other teachers.
