Diplomová práce je zaměřena na volnočasové aktivity poskytované s ohledem na prevenci socio-patologických jevů u dětí a mládeže ve vybraných nízkoprahových centrech. Cílem práce je identifikace podoby přístupů v sociální práci s dětmi s ohledem na kulturu a zvyky dané společnosti. Důvodem pro výběr tématu je osobní zkušenost s prací s dětmi a mladými lidmi v nízkoprahovém zařízení a zájem o uvedenou problematiku. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a výzkumnou část. V teoretické části je představena sociální práce jako pomáhající profese. Z hlediska kompatibility byla teorie členěna na sociální práci s dětmi a mládeží v kontextu České a Zambijské republiky, kde probíhal výzkum. V teoretické části byly také popsány socio-patologické jevy ve společnosti. Rizikové chování, jež nejvíce ohrožuje cílovou skupinu dětí a mládeže, bylo specifikováno i s možnou prevencí patologického jednání. Výzkumná část obsahuje popis a výsledky šetření, které proběhlo kvalitativní a kvantitativní formou ve vybraných centrech v České a Zambijské republice. Kvalitativní výzkum byl proveden metodou doslovné transkripce ze získaných rozhovorů. Rozhovory byly uskutečněny s pracovníky zařízení pro děti a mládež z obou zemí. Kvantitativní šetření bylo realizováno prostřednictvím anonymních dotazníků, které byly rozdány dětem a mladým lidem taktéž v obou organizacích. Pomocí získaných dat, a to zaprvé přepisem rozhovorů a za druhé vyjádřením absolutní a relativní četnosti z dotazníků, byly identifikovány podoby přístupů v sociální práci s dětmi. Vědeckým přínosem byla již zmíněná identifikace podoby přístupů v sociální práci s dětmi, a sice s ohledem na kulturu a zvyky dvou odlišných společností. Práce byla komparací současného stavu služeb, a to zejména s důrazem na aktivity zaměřené na prevenci socio-patologických jevů. The thesis is focused on leisure-time activities provided with respect to socio-pathic phenomena in selected Youth-drop centers. The aim of the thesis is to identify the forms of approach in social work with children with respect to culture and customs of given society. The reason for this topic selection is a personal experience of dealing with children and adolescents in Youth-drop institution as well as interest in presented problems. The thesis is divided into theoretical and survey parts. The theoretical part introduces social work as a preventing profession. Considering the compatibility, the theory was divided into social work with children and adolescents in the context of the Czech Republic and the Republic of Zambia, where the survey was implemented. Risk behavior, by which a target group of children and adolescents is threatened, was classified together with a possible prevention of pathological behavior. The survey part includes questionnaire construction, using both qualitative and quantitative methods in selected centers in the Czech Republic and the Republic of Zambia. The Qualitative research was implemented by a literal transcription method from provided interviews. The interviews were carried out together with the staff of institutions for children and adolescents of both the countries. Quantitative construction was implemented through anonymous questionnaires which were distributed among the children and adolescents in both the institutions. The scientific asset was the aforementioned identification of social work with children forms with respect to culture and customs of two different kinds of society. The thesis was a comparison with present status of services, stressing namely the activities aimed at socio-pathological traits prevention.
