Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou kouření v těhotenství. Je zaměřena na kvalitu informovanosti o škodlivosti kouření v těhotenství u porodních asistentek a gynekologických sester v ambulancích. Zároveň se zaměřuje na kvalitu protikuřácké intervence, která je poskytována budoucím matkám kuřačkám i nekuřačkám. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty současné poznatky o škodlivosti kouření obecně. V dalších kapitolách jsou probírány rizika kouření v těhotenství s důrazem na nežádoucí účinky jak na matku, tak na plod. Na závěr teoretické části jsou zmíněny možnosti při podpoře odvykání kouření. Praktická část zahrnuje výsledky ze zvolené metody kvalitativní sondy, která se skládá ze zúčastněného pozorování porodních asistentek či gynekologických sester při práci s těhotnou ženou. Druhou část této metody tvoří polostrukturovaný rozhovor, který obsahuje osm doplňujících otázek. Vyhodnocení těchto otázek mapuje znalosti sester o nežádoucích účincích kouření v těhotenství, jejich přístup k protikuřácké intervenci a informace, co by jim pomohlo k efektivnější a snazšímu přesvědčení budoucích matek, aby přestaly kouřit. Z výsledků výzkumu vyplynulo, že překážkou efektivní intervence ze strany porodních asistentek a gynekologických sester není nedostatek znalostí týkajících se škodlivých následků kouření... This bachelor thesis focuses on smoking during pregnancy and the issues connected therewith. It concerns with the level of knowledge the midwives and gynaecological nurses have about the negative effects of smoking during pregnancy. It also focuses on the quality of anti-smoking intervention given to future mothers - smokers and non-smokers. The theoretical part summarises general knowledge about the negative effects of smoking. The following chapters investigate the problems that may be caused by smoking during pregnancy and describe the effects it has on the mother and her fetus. In the end of the theoretical part it suggests possible ways and support to give up smoking. The practical part of the thesis englobes results from the qualitative method that was chosen which consists in the observation of midwives and gynaecological nurses while working with a pregnant woman. The second part of this method is a semi structured interview, with eight supplementary questions. The evaluation of these questions shows the midwives' knowledge about the undesirable effects of smoking during pregnancy, their attitude towards anti-smoking intervention and information which could help them achieve an easier and more effective way of persuading future mothers to quit smoking.
