Abstract: This paper presents VHDL implementation of complex system for controlling modular LED displays. In this project we mainly focus on utilizing HDMI input interface on FPGA which controls LED displays, but also on ensuring communication via MODBUS protocol, identification through DDC and thermal security of LED displays itself.
