Autor zjišťuje, ým způsobem hráčky vstoupily do pokerového prostředí umožnilo. jakými problémy se hráčky při svých pokerových začátcích potýkaly a způsoby se s těmito překážkami vyrovnávaly Součástí práce je i ě podmíněných ů, se kterými se hráčky při hraní pokeru setkávají. Autor vysvětluje, zda a případně jakým způsobem, ženy přizpůsobují svou herní strategii, v hrají proti ženám či mužům. V samém závěru se hráčkou mimo prostory kasina? Jak jejich blízké okolí vnímá tuto "podivnou" p je poker náročný a jaká omezení pro ženy úvodní teoretické části autor představuje teoretická východiska výzkumu, tedy studium genderu, genderových stereotypů, átký přehled dosavadních sociologických výzkumů pokeru. The author studies how female poker players have entered the poker environment and what enabled them to do so. What problems did players encounter in the beginnings of their poker careers and how they dealt with these obstacles? Part of the work is also an analysis of gender- based stereotypes in poker environment encountered by female players. The author explains whether and how women adjust their competitive game strategy depending on whether they play against women or men. In the end the, the Author studies what is it like to be a female poker player rout of the casino space. How does their closest ones perceive this "strange" profession? How challenging is poker and are there any limitations for women playing poker? In the theoretical part, the author presents the theoretical basis of research, i.e., gender studies, gender stereotypes, feminity and masculinity, sociology of sport and provides a brief overview of the current sociological research of poker. The second part is about the methodology of qualitative research, the method of data collection and their subsequent analysis.
