Bakalářská práce se zabývá básnickou tvorbou Berty Mühlsteinové. Autorka prózy a poezie, která byla známá především v druhé polovině 19. století, působila v "kruhu" spisovatelek kolem Karoliny Světlé. Důležitou osobou v jejím životě byl také Jan Neruda, který částečně ovlivnil její tvorbu. Práce je rozdělená na dvě části. V první části představuje životní osud spisovatelky, její aktivity v Americkém klubu dam a literární činnost (v podobě kompletního bibliografického přehledu i výkladu). Poté se práce věnuje interpretaci jediné knižně vydané sbírky autorky (Pohrobky, 1872) a jejímu kritickému ohlasu. K získání zdrojových materiálů byly využity dostupné knižní a elektronické databáze i archivní soubor uložený v osobním fondu autorky v Památníku národního písemnictví v Praze. The bachelor thesis focuses on the poetic writings of Berta Mühlstein. Mühlstein was well known author especially in the second half of the 19th century. She was active in the literary circle around Karolína Světlá. She was in contact with Jan Neruda as well. Her literary and friendly contact with Neruda affected her style. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part presents the biography of the author and her activities in the American Ladies Club. Her literary activities are described in the form of a complete bibliographic overview and commentary. The second part of the thesis focuses on the interpretation of the single collection of poems published by Mühlstein (Pohrobky, 1872) and its critical reception. The work is analysed according to the book and electronic databases. To get the whole overview of the issue I used the Mühlstein's archive file from the Memorial of National Literature in Prague too.
