Zkoušky konstrukčních materiálů pro získání hodnot lomově-mechanických veličin jsou prováděny na tvarově různých tělesech. Mezi nejpoužívanější lomové experimenty patří zkouška vzorků tříbodovým ohybem. V případě této zkoušky se užívají tělesa se zářezem, který zajišťuje iniciaci trhliny. Ukazuje se, že na šířce tohoto zářezu závisí přesnost měřených lomově-mechanických parametrů, např. efektivní lomová houževnatost či efektivní houževnatost. Cílem příspěvku je na základě výpočtů metodou konečných prvků analyzovat vliv šířky zářezu pro různé geometrie vzorku/zkoušky na iniciaci počáteční trhliny. Tento vliv na získané hodnoty lomově-mechanických parametrů autoři kvantifikují a jsou vyslovena doporučení pro korektní vyhodnocení experimentů, včetně použitelných aproximačních funkcí. The paper introduce the influence of the starting notch width on a crack growth in three-point bending specimens that are the most frequently used specimens for fracture laboratory testing, especially of quasi-brittle cement-based composites. There are analyses of three geometrically different configurations of the specimens. It is shown that the values of fracture toughness obtained from the tests of specimens with larger widths of the starting notch can be overestimated. Correction functions for selected testing configurations are presented.
