Bakalářská práce se zabývá vyjadřováním emocí, citů a nálad prostřednictvím internetové komunikace. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části: část teoretickou a část analytickou. Teoretická část shrnuje dosavadní poznatky o internetové komunikaci, neverbální komunikaci a stručně představuje emoce v nejširším slova smyslu. Analytická část si klade za cíl charakterizovat tzv. "smajlíky", jež jsou užívány v psané komunikaci prostřednictvím internetu. Důležitým bodem analytické části je ucelení přehledu, jak a které emotikony použít v konkrétní situaci. The Bachelor's thesis deals with the expression of emotions, feelings, and moods through internet communication. The thesis is divided into two parts: a theoretical and an analytical part. The theoretical part summarizes the existing knowledge on internet communication and nonverbal communication, and briefly introduces emotions in the broadest sense. The analytical part aims to define 'smileys' which are used in written communication on the Internet. An important point of the analytical part is a comprehensive overview on how and what emoticons to use in a partikular situation
