Abstrakt: Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem Prevalence nadváhy a obezity u dětí na 2. stupni ZŠ v regionu Táborsko. Hlavní náplní mé teoretické části bylo seznámit s charakteristikou dětské obezity, s jejími příčinami, riziky a následnými problémy a prevencí. Hlavní částí celé mé práce byl samotný výzkum. Pomocí antropometrického měření na žácích 2. stupně ZŠ v regionu Táborsko jsem zjišťovala tělesnou výšku, tělesnou hmotnost, obvod pasu, obvod boků, porodní hmotnost, porodní délku a BMI. Celkem se zúčastnilo 198 žáků z 6 oslovených základních škol. Z dat, která byla při měřeních získána, jsem zjistila, že se prevalence nadváhy vyskytuje u 13,1% žáků z celkového počtu měřených. Z těchto 13,1% se jednalo o 12 dívek a 14 chlapců. Prevalence obezity byla zjištěna u 7,6% žáků z celkového počtu a vyskytla se u 8 obézních dívek a 7 obézních chlapců. Abstract: This thesis deals with the prevalence of overweight and obesity among children in the second grade of primary schools in the region of Tábor. The main focus of my theoretical part was to get acquainted with the characteristics of childhood obesity, its causes, risks and prevention and the consequent problems. The main part of my work was the research itself. Using anthropometric measurements on 2nd graders in elementary schools in the region of Tábor. I examined body height, body weight, waist circumference, hip circumference, birth weight, birth length, and BMI. A total of 198 students participated from six primary schools surveyed. From the data, which was obtained in measurements, I determine that the prevalence of overweight was found in 13.1% of the total number of pupils. These 13.1% were 12 girls and 14 boys. The prevalence of obesity was found in 7.6% of the total number of pupils and occurred in 8 obese girls and 7 obese boys.
