Abstrakt Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá prevalencí obezity a nadváhy pubescentů v regionu Pelhřimovsko. Konkrétně náplní práce je teoretické přiblížení problematiky a následné zjištění prevalence obezity a nadváhy u žáků 7. a 8. tříd základních škol. Antropometrického měření se zúčastnilo celkem 200 probandů, z toho 112 dívek a 88 chlapců. Během měření jsme zjišťovali tělesnou výšku, hmotnost, obvod boků a pasu, porodní hmotnost a porodní délku. Na základě naměřených dat bylo vypočítáno BMI. Z celkového počtu měřených žáků byla zjištěna hodnota pásma nadváhy 11, 5 %. Nadváha se vyskytla u 10 chlapců a 13 dívek. Prevalence obezity byla zjištěna u 21 % měřených jedinců. Do těchto 21 % spadalo 25 chlapců a 17 dívek. Zajímavé je, že velké procento dětí trpí také podváhou. Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with the prevalence of obesity and overweight adolescents in the region Pelhřimovsko. Specifically job is to approach the theoretical issues and then determine the prevalence of obesity and overweight pupils 7th and 8th grades of primary schools. Anthropometric measurements were attended by a total of 200 probands, of which 112 girls and 88 boys. We measured body height, weight, hip circumference and waist, birth weight and birth length. Based on the measured value, we calculated BMI. We found the value zone overweight 11, 5% of the total number of students measured. Overweight occurred at 10 boys and 13 girls. On the basis of percentiles graphs obesity affects 21% of individuals. Into these 21% include 25 boys and 17 girls. It is interesting that a large percentage is of underweight children.
