The wall-friction records made in the transitional region of boundary layer were analysed using Narasimha's transitional intermittency concept and wavelet analysis. The distributions of the dimensionless spot production rates clarify the effect of outer stream turbulence structure on the course of laminar/turbulent boundary layer transition. Časové záznamy povrchového tření v přechodové oblasti mezní vrstvy byly analyzovány pomocí Narasimhova konceptu přechodové intermitence a waveletové analýzy. Průběhy bezrozměrné rychlosti produkce stop turbulence objasňují vliv struktury turbulence vnějšího proudění na průběh přechodu z laminární do turbulentní mezní vrstvy.
