[cze][eng] Cílem bakalářské práce, jež je tvořena z teoretické a empirické části, bylo zmapovat mediální obraz sestry. V teoretické části práce se věnujeme ošetřovatelství a sesterské profesi stran rolí a prestiže, pojednáváme o významných osobnostech světového a českého ošetřovatelství. V neposlední řadě čtenáře informujeme o médiích, včetně jejich historie a rozdělení. K realizaci empirické části práce jsme zvolili kvalitativní a kvantitativní výzkum, který probíhal pomocí polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s deseti probandy a dotazníku, na který odpovědělo 330 respondentů. K dosažení cíle v kvalitativním výzkumném šetření, nám posloužily výzkumné otázky. Jak vnímají mediální obraz své profese samy sestry? Jak ovlivňují seriály s ošetřovatelskou tématikou mediální obraz sestry? Jaká média se nejvíce zajímají o mediální obraz sestry? Jaká pozitiva má mediální obraz sestry? Jaká negativa má mediální obraz sestry? K hlubšímu prozkoumání v kvantitativním výzkumném šetření, nám posloužily hypotézy. Hodnocení mediálního obrazu sestry je závislé na pohlaví výzkumného souboru. Hodnocení mediálního obrazu sestry je závislé na věku výzkumného souboru. Z výsledků jsme zjistili, že sestry nejsou spokojeny s jejich mediálním obrazem. Lidé do 29 let hodnotí prezentaci mediálního obrazu sestry spíše negativně, zatímco lidé ve věku 40 a více udávají, že mediální obraz sestry je prezentován pozitivně. V hodnocení mezi ženami a muži nebyly prokázané rozdíly. Výsledky práce mohou sloužit jako podklad pro výuku ošetřovatelských předmětů, nebo jako podklad pro zpracování materiálu, jež by byl skutečným zrcadlením práce sester. Tento výzkum otevírá další možnosti diskuze a výzkumných aktivit stran zatraktivnění profese všeobecná sestra a v zobrazení reálného obrazu sesterské profese laické i odborné veřejnosti. The aim of the bachelor thesis, which consists of theoretical and empirical parts, was to map the media image of a nurse. In the theoretical part of the thesis we deal with the topics of nursing care, nurse's profession, its roles and prestige. We also deal with important world famous and Czech personalities in the field of nursing. Last but not least, the reader is informed about the media, including their history and division. To implement the empirical part of the thesis, we chose qualitative and quantitative research, which was carried out through a semi-structured interview with ten probands and a questionnaire which was an answered and submitted by 330 respondents. Research questions have helped us to achieve goals in qualitative filed of research. How do nurses themselves perceive the media image of their own profession? How do series from nursing environment influence the media image of a nurse? Which media are most interested in the media image of a nurse? What are the positives of the media image of a nurse? What are the negatives of the media imagine of a nurse? Hypothesis have helped us for deeper examination in qualitative research. The evaluation of the nurse's media image is dependent on the age of the researched population. From the results we found out that nurses are not happy with their media image. People under the age of 29 value the presentation of the media image of nurses rather negatively, while people aged 40 or more report that the media image of a nurse is presented positively. There were no differences found in the evaluation between women and men. The results of the thesis can be used as a basis for teaching nursing subjects, or as a basis for material processing, which would be a real reflection of the work of the nurses. This research opens up other possibilities for discussion and other research activities in order to make nurse profession more attractive and besides other things it also tries to present the real image of nurse profession to both general and professional public.
