Práce se zabývá preventivními programy pro seniory. Cílem práce je objasnit, jakým způsobem mohou preventivní programy pro seniory rozvíjet sociální kompetence seniorů. Pro seniory je důležité zachovat jejich soběstačnost a autonomii, neboť to ovlivňuje jejich kvalitu života, která je důležitá pro jejich integritu. Senioři mohou být ohroženi sociálním vyloučením na základě rizikových faktorů, například odchodem do starobního důchodu a s tím souvisejícím osamocením. Senioři se mohou stát oběťmi násilí nebo zneužívání. Je proto důležité, aby společnost mohla seniorům nabídnout preventivní programy, které budou rozvíjet jejich sociální kompetence. V práci jsou uvedeny některé příklady vybraných preventivních programů. The thesis deals with preventive programs for the old people. The aim of the thesis is to explain how can preventive programs for old people develop social competences of old people. For old people is important to maintain self sufficiency and autonomy, because this affects their quality of life, which is important for their integrity. The old people can be at risk of social exclusion based on risk factors, such as retiring to retirement and related loneliness. Old people may become victims of violance or abuse. Therefore, it is important, that society can offer preventive programs to develop their social competences. The thesis shows some examples of selected preventive programs.
