Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat metody a techniky práce s klienty ve středisku výchovné péče v rámci individuální a skupinové práce. Výzkumná otázka se zabývá významem práce sociálního pracovníka v rámci komplexní péče o klienta ve středisku výchovné péče. Pro zjištění cílů byl použit kvalitativní výzkum, pro jehož realizaci poskytlo prostor jedno ze středisek výchovné péče v Jihočeském kraji. Výzkum byl realizován prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo pět komunikačních partnerů, kteří jsou členy multidisciplinárního týmu ve středisku výchovné péče. Získané výsledky byly zpracovány technikou kategorizace dat. Všichni komunikační partneři vnímají roli sociálního pracovníka ve středisku výchovné péče jako nezastupitelnou a velice důležitou pro chod celého pracovního týmu. Jak ukázaly výsledky, tak mezi hlavní úkoly sociálního pracovníka patří komunikace s orgány sociálně právní ochrany dětí (dále jen OSPOD), účast na vstupních pohovorech, administrativa, ale také zpracovávání statistických dat. Z výzkumu vyplývá, že většina komunikačních partnerů považuje za hlavní metody používané v rámci individuální práce hlavně pozorování a rozhovor. Hlavním cílem je komplexní diagnostika klienta, proto také jednotliví komunikační partneři jako nejčastější techniky v rámci skupinové práce uvedli diagnostické metody a testy. Z výzkumu dále vyplynulo, že v rámci skupinové práce jsou nejčastěji používány opět diagnostické metody. Komunikační partneři, kteří se zabývají skupinovou prací s klienty, se shodli, že nejčastěji používané techniky v rámci skupinové práce jsou hlavně motivační techniky. The aim of the Bachelor Thesis is to describe the methods and techniques of work with the clients at the centres of educational care within individual and group work as well. The research question deals with the importance of welfare officers´ work in the context of complex care of the clients at the centres of educational care. To achieve the objectives, qualitative research was used and for its implementation, one of the centres of educational care in the South Bohemian Region provided its premises. The research was conducted through semi-structured interviews. The research team consisted of five communication partners who were members of a multidisciplinary team at the centre of educational care. The obtained results were processed by the data categorization technique. To conclude, all the communication partners perceive the welfare officers´ role at the centers of educational care as irreplaceable and very important for the work of the whole team. The results showed the main tasks of welfare officers include communication with the institutions for social and legal protection of children (OSPOD), participation in entry interviews, administration, but also processing of statistical data. The research showed that most of the communication partners considered observation and interview as the chief methods used in the individual work. The complex diagnostics of the clients was the main objective and that was why the individual communication partners mentioned diagnostic methods and tests as the most common techniques within the group work. The research also showed that, in the context of the group work as well, the diagnostic methods were most commonly used ones. The communication partners dealing with group work with the clients agreed that motivational techniques were the most commonly used techniques within the group work.
