Systém veřejného zdravotního pojištění je povinný jak pro všechny osoby trvale žijící na území České republiky, tak i pro cizince zde pracující. Pojištění vzniká dnem narození, dnem získání trvalého bydliště nebo pokud cizinec, který nemá trvalé bydliště na území ČR, se zde stal zaměstnancem. Pojištění končí smrtí občana, dále ukončením trvalého pobytu nebo pokud osoba bez trvalého bydliště ukončila pracovní poměr v ČR. V dnešní době u nás funguje sedm zdravotních pojišťoven, které z fondu prevence mohou hradit různé zdravotní služby nad rámec hrazené zdravotní péče a nabízet tak svým pojištěncům řadu příspěvků. Cílem práce je zjistit, jestli se liší preventivní programy nabízené jednotlivými pojišťovnami a zda se využívání nabízených benefitů (příspěvků) pro podporu zdraví liší dle pohlaví a vzdělání pojištěnců a zda frekvence změny pojišťovny závisí na pohlaví pojištěnce. Vytvořila jsem nestandardizovaný dotazník s 18 otázkami proto, abych mohla své hypotézy vyvrátit, či potvrdit a mohla tak zhodnotit cíle své práce. Testování hypotéz probíhalo pomocí chí-kvadrát testu, kde jsem zjistila, že využívání nabízených benefitů (finančních příspěvků poskytovaných nad rámec veřejného pojištění pro podporu zdraví) se liší dle pohlaví, ale neliší se podle vzdělání pojištěnců. Zjistila jsem také, že frekvence změny pojišťovny nezávisí na pohlaví pojištěnce. Porovnáním preventivních programů zdravotních pojišťoven jsem došla k závěru, že příspěvky se liší a je tedy jen na pojištěnci, jak se rozhodne, u které zdravotní pojišťovny se pojistí. Zda se bude řídit spektrem nabízených příspěvků nebo tím, aby zdravotní pojišťovna měla uzavřenou smlouvu s jeho lékařem. Public health insurance system is compulsory for all people permanently living in the Czech Republic as well as for foreigners who work here. Insurance begins with the day of birth, with the day of obtaining permanent residence or if a foreigner who does not have a permanent residence in the area of Czech Republic, has become an employee here. Insurance expires with the citizen´s death, with the end of their permanent residence, or if the citizen without a permanent residence has ended their employment in the Czech Republic. Nowadays, there are seven health insurance companies that may pay different health services beyond paid health care from prevention funding, thus offer their clients a range of contributions. The aim of this thesis is to find out whether prevention programmes offered by individual health insurance companies differ, and whether using of the offered benefits for health support differs according to clients´gender and education, and whether the frequency of changing health insurance company depends on the client´s gender. I have created a non-standardized questionnaire with 18 questions to refute or confirm my hypotheses, and thus evaluate the aims of my thesis. Testing of my hypotheses happened via the chi-quadrat test, where I found out that using of the offered benefits (financial aid provided beyond public insurance for health support) differs according to gender, but does not differ according to the clients´ education. I have also found out that the frequency of changing health insurance company does not depend on the client´s gender. Comparing prevention programmes of different health insurance companies has made me conclude that benefits differ, and thus it is up to the client to decide at which health insurance company to insure themselves. Whether they follow the offered benefit spectre or the fact that the insurance company has entered a contract with their doctor.
