Paralelní algoritmus modifikované Newmarkovy methody je využit v dynamice rotorů uložených v hydrodynamických ložiskách konečné délky. Algoritmus, který byl realizován v paralelním výpočtovém prostředí MATLABu (DCT/DCE), byl testován na dvou různých typech paralelních počítačů – Beowulf cluster a symetrický multiprocessor. Testy na algoritmu ukázaly dobrou škálovatelnost a efektivnost navrženého algoritmu. Parallel algorithm of modified Newmark's method is used in dynamics of rotors supported by finite length journal bearings. The algorithm, realized in the MATLAB parallel computing environment (DCT/DCE), was tested on two different types of parallel computers – a Beowulf cluster and symmetric multiprocessor. Tests revealed good scalability and efficiency of proposed algorithm.
