Cílem práce "Geneze sociálního bydlení v České republice" je zaznamenat vývoj nástrojů bytové politiky, zejména na podporu osob v nouzi, od prvotních zásahů státu až k současným snahám o zavedení legislativně ukotveného systému sociálního bydlení. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část zkoumá historický vývoj nástrojů bytové politiky na území současné České republiky od 19. století až po transformační procesy bytové politiky, které se spustily na začátku 90. let. Druhá část se zabývá definicí sociálního bydlení, zkušenostmi s konceptem u nás i ve vybraných státech Evropské unie a vývojem snah o legislativní ukotvení sociálního bydlení jako formy pomoci pro osoby v bytové nouzi. Součástí druhé části je také popis aspektů, které současně nepříznivě ovlivňují bytovou situaci. The aim of my bachelor thesis "The genesis of social housing in Czech Republic" is to describe formation of social policy instruments. Especially characterize the field of support for people in need, from the very first intervention of the state to current efforts to establish legally anchored system of social housing in Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part examines historical development of social policy instruments in Czech Republic from the 19th century to transformation processes of social policy that started in early 90's. The second part focuses on definition of social housing and experiences with this concept in Czech Republic as well as within the states of the European union. This part is also talking about progress in efforts of defining and establishing social housing legally like one of the form of help for people in need. There is also part devoted to description of aspects that currently influence housing situation in negative way.
