Východiska: První ústavní zařízení specializované na léčbu alkoholu otevřel Bedřich Konařík- Bečvan ve Velkých Kunčicích v roce 1911. Tato léčebna byla v roce 1915 uzavřena, a proto bylo nutné zrealizovat léčebnu novou. Československý abstinentní svaz spolu s Bedřichem Konaříkem vyhledal vhodné prostory a v roce 1923 se otevřela druhá protialkoholní léčebna v Tuchlově. Cíle: Cílem této práce je zmapovat vznik a zánik Abstinentního pensionátu zámek Tuchlov. Pomocí historických dokumentů popsat složení pacientů, jejich úspěšně/neúspěšné pokusy o léčbu a jaké terapeutické postupy byly používány. Metody: Pro sběr dat byla použita obsahová kvalitativní analýza historických dokumentů, které doposud nebyly zkompletovány. Stěžejními informacemi jsou archivní listy z Archivu Národního muzea, dále také dobové časopisy Vyšší národ a Zdravý lid. Výsledky: Již od roku 1908, kdy Bedřich Konařík- Bečvan začal vydávat publikace o závislosti na alkoholu, upozorňoval na nutnost vytvoření zařízení zaměřeného na léčbu této návykové látky. Po uzavření léčebny ve Velkých Kunčicích, se opět chopil možnosti o vytvoření léčebny nové, a tím reagovat na potřeby alkoholových pacientů. Abstinentní zámek Tuchlov fungoval od roku 1923 a zanikl v roce 1939, za dobu fungování bylo přijato 300 pacientů, z toho pouze 6 žen. Závěr:... Background: First institution specialized in treatment of alcohol was opened by Bedrich Konarik-Becvan in 1911 in Velke Kuncice. This hospital was closed in 1915 and therefore there was the necessity of creation of the new medical institution. The czechoslovak abstinent association along with Bedrich Konarik found suitable premises and then in 1923 the second anti-alcoholic institution in Tuchlov was opend. Aims: The aim of this thesis is to map the existence (commencement and the expiry) of Abstinential pension Chateau Tuchlov. Use historical documents to describe the composition of the patients, their succesful/unsuccesful treatment attempts, and which therapeutical procedures were used. Methods: The content quality analysis of historical documents, which have not been yet completed has been used for the data collection. The key information are archive sheets from the National Museu archive, so like periodical magazines "Vyssi narod" and "Zdravy lid". Results: Since 1908, when Bedrich Konarik - Becvan began publishing about the alcohol addiction, he pointe dout the necessity of creating the new facilities focused on the treatment of this addictive substance.
