This thesis is concerned with the ways mental disorders caused by trauma are represented in the novels Fight Club, Invisible Monsters and Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk. The theoretical part focuses on introduction of the mental disorders and trauma, while the practical part analyses the individual ways the disorders are presented in the novels. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zobrazením psychických poruch způsobených traumatem v knihách Klub rváčů, Neviditelné nestvůry a Program pro přeživší Chucka Palahniuka. Teoretická část se soustředí na představení jednotlivých psychických poruch a praktická analyzuje způsoby, kterými jsou poruchy zobrazeny v knihách.
