Tato práce řeší Všeobecnou deklaraci lidských práv: Historický mezník v ochraně sociálních práv. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak Všeobecná deklarace lidských práv ovlivňuje sociální práva a jaký je její vliv na současnou situaci. Práce je strukturovaná do sedmi kapitol. V první kapitole se zabývám vývojem pojetí lidských práv, kde je popsán vývoj myšlenek, který se zabývá vznikem a ochranou lidských práv. V následující kapitole se nejvíce zaměřuji na vznik a historii Všeobecné deklarace lidských práv, která je dodnes inspirací pro další rozvoj lidských práv, jejichž součástí jsou i sociální práva. Ve třetí kapitole popisuji vznik samotné Všeobecné deklarace lidských práv a její rozdělení. Všeobecnou deklaraci lidských práv je možné rozdělit do pěti skupin. Dělí se na práva politická, hospodářská, občanská, sociální a kulturní. V další kapitole se věnuji odrazu Všeobecné deklarace lidských práv v ostatních dokumentech, především v Mezinárodním paktu o občanských a politických právech, Evropské úmluvě o ochraně lidských práv a základních svobod, Evropské sociální chartě a v dalších důležitých úmluvách týkajících se lidských práv. V páté kapitola se věnuji samotným sociálním právům, vývojem sociálních práv, prameny a základním rozdělením sociálních práv. V předposlední kapitole popisuje Mezinárodní organizace, které se zabývají sociálními právy, jako jsou Organizace spojených národů, Mezinárodní organizace práce a Rada Evropy. V poslední kapitole pojednávám o porušování lidských a sociálních práv v současnosti. Zde uvádím několik příkladů porušování práv od roku 2015. Mimo jiné se zaměřuji i na diskriminaci žen na pracovišti, kde také zmiňuji problematiku skleněného stropu a gender problematiku. This thesis deals with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: the historical milestone protection human rights. The aim of the thesis is to find out how the Universal Declaration of Human Rights influences social rights, and what its influence on the current situation is. The thesis is structured into seven chapters. The first chapter deals with the development of human right conception, describing the development of thinking that has been dealing with the origin and protection of human rights. The history is being described from the beginning of the 20th century. Most attention is paid to the origin of Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which has inspired a further development of human rights the part of which now are also social rights. The third chapter describes the origin of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights itself, and its division. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights may be divided into five groups. It is divided among political, economic, civil, social, and cultural rights. The fourth chapter is devoted to the reflection of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in other documents, especially in the International Pact on Civil and Political Rights, European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, European Social Charter, and in other important conventions dealing with human rights. The fifth chapter is devoted to social rights themselves, the development of social rights, sources and the basic divisions of social rights. The penultimate chapter describes international organizations dealing with social rights, such as the United Nations, the International Labour Organization, and the Council of Europe. The last chapter discusses violating human and social rights nowadays. There are some examples of right violation since 2015. Among other things, I have focused also on discriminating women in the workplace, mentioning the problem of ´glass ceiling´ and gender issues.
