V práci byly popsány významné druhy mát, jejich využití a obsahové látky. Hlavní pozornost byla věnována látkám fenolické povahy a charakteristice vnějších a vnitřních faktorů ovlivňujících jejich kvantitu a kvalitu. Bylo zkoumáno životní prostředí rostliny, komplex vnějších faktorů, na které Mentha L. reaguje. Z hlediska hodnocení vnitřních faktorů byly porovnávány obsahy fenolických látek v různých druzích a odrůdách rodu Mentha L., byl také hodnocen vliv ontogenetického vývoje na vnitřní kvalitu. In the final work was described significant species of mint, their use and contain substances. A close attention was paid to phenolic compounds and characterization external and internal factors then were assessed influencing their quantity and quality. It was examined environmental plants, a complex of external factors, which Mentha L. actively responds. For the assessment of internal factors were compared contents of phenolic compounds in different species and varieties of the genus Mentha L., it was also evaluated the effect on ontogenetic development of the internal quality.
