Diplomová práca sa zaoberá ekonomickou situáciou Švajčiarska a jeho postavením na trhu medzinárodného cestovného ruchu. Hlavným cieľom práce je zhodnotiť postavenie Švajčiarska na medzinárodnom trhu cestovného ruchu. Prvá kapitola práce zahŕňa terminológiu a teoretické východiská medzinárodného cestovného ruchu. Druhá kapitola obsahuje okrem základnej charakteristiky krajiny aj analýzu súčasnej ekonomickej situácie Švajčiarska a švajčiarskej konkurencieschopnosti. Tretia kapitola je zameraná na švajčiarsky cestovný ruch, najmä na rozbor činiteľov jeho rozvoja, jeho postavenia vo švajčiarskej ekonomike a jeho konkurencieschopnosti. Obsahom poslednej kapitoly je zhodnotenie postavenia Švajčiarska na medzinárodnom trhu cestovného ruchu a porovnanie tohto postavenia s hlavným konkurentom. Diplomová práce se zabývá ekonomickou situací Švýcarska a jeho postavením na trhu mezinárodního cestovního ruchu. Hlavním cílem práce je vyhodnotit postavení Švýcarska na mezinárodním trhu cestovního ruchu. První kapitola práce zahrnuje terminologii a teoretické východiska mezinárodního cestovního ruchu. Druhá kapitola obsahuje kromě základní charakteristiky země i analýzu současné ekonomické situace Švýcarska a švýcarské konkurenceschopnosti. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na švýcarský cestovní ruch, hlavně na rozbor činitelů jeho rozvoje, jeho postavení ve švýcarské ekonomice a jeho konkurenceschopnosti. Obsahem poslední kapitoly je vyhodnocení postavení Švýcarska na mezinárodním trhu cestovního ruchu a porovnání tohoto postavení s hlavním konkurentem. The thesis is focused on the economic situation of Switzerland and its position in the international tourism market. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the position of Switzerland in the international tourism market. The first chapter of the thesis contains the basic terms and definitions in the area of international tourism. The second chapter deals with general information about Switzerland and the analysis of current economic situation, as well as the competitiveness in the global economy. Third chapter is focused on Swiss tourism, especially its factors of development, its position in Swiss economy, and its competitiveness. The last chapter contains the evaluation of position of Switzerland in the international tourism market and also the comparison of this position with the main competitor.
