Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na vliv regulace bankovního systému. Blíže tato práce cílí na kapitálové požadavky bank a hodnotí, zda je vhodné posilovat regulaci a vytvářet právní rámec, který umožní evropským i národním dohledovým autoritám rychleji reagovat na případné odchylky v kapitálové vybavenosti a větší expozici bank vůči rizikům. Tato práce potvrzuje stabilní vývoj českého finančního sektoru i dostatečnou kapitálová vybavenost bankovních institucí v České republice, z tohoto hlediska není shledána důvodná potřeba navyšovat požadavky na kapitál plošně. Přes současný trend centralizace regulatorních a dohledových činností a pravomocí je doporučen jejich částečný návrat do rukou příslušných domácích autorit, které mohou lépe postihnout specifika národních finančních systémů. This bachelor thesis focuses on influence of the banking system regulation. The thesis is aimed at capital requirements and evaluates if it is appropriate to make the regulation stronger, and creates the legal structure which enables European and national supervision authorities to react faster to potential changes in capital adequacy and a bigger exposition in relation to risks. This bachelor thesis confirms the stable development of Czech financial sector as well as sufficient bank capital resources. In this respect it is not necessary to increase the capital requirements across the board. Despite the current trend of regulatory and supervisory centralization it is recommended to entrust some of these activities and powers with competent national supervisory authorities. These authorities could possibly better address the specifics of their respective national financial systems.
