Je podán alternativní důkaz Jordanova čísla podmíněnosti pro matice řádu 2, optimalizováno měřítko kvadratické rovnice a postup je zobecněn na kvadratický problém vlastní hodnoty matic většího řádu modelující tlumené dynamické systémy. In this paper new alternative proofs of the Jordan condition number and spectral condition number for general matrices of order two are presented. It can be useful to define optimal matrix scaling in the process of the linearization of the quadratic eigenvalue problem corresponding to the generally damped system.
