Tato práce se zabývá problematikou důsledků stárnutí na potřeby služeb sociální péče v oblasti lůžkové kapacity v domovech pro seniory a domovech se zvláštním režimem. Cílem práce je vytvoření projekce lůžkové kapacity v těchto zařízeních na úrovni jednotlivých krajů a celé České republiky do roku 2051. Práce představuje tři metody způsobu výpočtu budoucí lůžkové kapacity, na základě kterých se ukazuje, že v budoucnu bude potřeba lůžkovou kapacitu významně navýšit. Zjištěné výsledky ukazují, že v rámci České republiky na úrovni krajů existují regionální rozdíly v demografické struktuře, což vede k rozdílné intenzitě poptávky po lůžkové kapacitě. This thesis is focused on problems of consequences of ageing population and the needs of social care services in terms of bed capacity in retirements homes and nursing homes. The aim of the thesis is to set a projection of bed capacity in these facilities at the level of individual regions and the whole Czech Republic by 2051. The dissertation presents three methods of calculating the future bed capacity which shows that the bed capacity will need to be significantly increased in future. The results found show that there are regional differences in the demographic structure within the Czech Republic at regional level which leads to a different intensity of demand for bed capacity.
