Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem programu rozvoje obce Novosedly nad Nežárkou v souvislosti její participace v soutěži Vesnice roku. Hlavním cílem práce je porovnat míru socioekonomického rozvoje před a po účasti v soutěži. Porovnání je vyhodnoceno na základě provedeného rozhovoru s hlavním představitelem obce i analýzou dokumentů obce. Následně je vliv soutěže Vesnice roku analyzován i v dalších vybraných obcích. Teoretická část práce se zabývá problematikou místního rozvoje venkova, představením programů na obnovu venkova v ČR, SR i Evropě. Obsahuje také porovnání české a slovenské soutěže a vymezuje aktuální trendy místního rozvoje. Praktická část práce se zaměřuje na analýzu socioekonomického rozvoje vybraných obcí v závislosti na jejich participaci v soutěži Ves-nice roku a výsledné porovnání dopadů. Hlavní důraz je kladen na obec Novosedly nad Nežárkou, jejíž účast je prozkoumána detailněji. Druhá polovina praktické části se zabývá spokojeností občanů se životem v obci a představuje návrhy k dalšímu rozvoji, které jsou spolu s předchozími výsledky dopadů participace obcí v soutěži zohledněny v závěru práce. The bachelor thesis focuses on the development program of the village of Novosedly nad Nežárkou in connection with its participation in the Village of the Year competition. The main aim of the thesis is to compare the socio-economic development rate before and after the competition. Based on the interview with the main representative of the municipality and the analysis of the documents of the municipality, the comparison is evaluated. Subsequently, by analyzing other selected municipalities, the impact of the Village of the Year competition is evaluated. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issue of local rural development, introducing rural renewal programs in the Czech republic, Slovakia and Europe. It also contains a comparison of the Czech and Slovak competitions and defines the current trends of local development. The practical part deals with the analysis of the socio-economic development of selected municipalities in relation to their participation in the Village of the Year competition followed by the comparison of its impact. The main focus is put on the village Novosedly nad Nežárkou, whose participation is explored in more detail. The second part of the practical part deals with the citizens' satisfaction with the life in the village and presents suggestions for further development. These suggestions, together with the impact the competition had on the village, are discussed in the conclusion of the thesis.
