Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je rozbor obchodních vztahů mezi Českou republikou a Švýcarskem. Dílčími cíli jsou také analýza pozice Švýcarska vůči EU a představení kulturních a obchodních specifik Švýcarska. První kapitola charakterizuje Švýcarskou konfederaci jak z obecného, tak z ekonomického hlediska. Druhá kapitola se věnuje bilaterálním vztahům Švýcarska a Evropské unie. Třetí kapitola představuje obchodní vztahy mezi Švýcarskem a ČR, vývoj bilance vzájemného obchodu a perspektivy vývoje těchto vztahů do budoucna. Čtvrtá kapitola je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část vychází z konceptu kulturních dimenzí Geerta Hofstedeho a Gerta Jana Hofstedeho a porovnává kulturu Švýcarska a ČR. Praktická část kapitoly je zaměřena na český pohled na obchodní jednání se Švýcary a obsahuje vyhodnocení dotazníků vyplněných českými zaměstnanci spolupracujícími denně se Švýcary. The main goal of the thesis is to analyze trade relations between the Czech republic and Switzerland. The thesis also includes analysis of the Swiss attitude towards the European union and presents cultural and trade specifics of Switzerland. The first chapter characterizes Switzerland in general and economically. The second chapter deals with bilateral relations between Switzerland and the European union. The third chapter describes trade relations between Switzerland and the Czech republic, the development of the trade balance between these two countries and possible development of their trade relations in the future. The fourth chapter is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical section is based on the concept of cultural dimensions introduced by Geert Hofstede and Gert Jan Hofstede and compares the Swiss and the Czech culture. The practical section is focused on the Czech view of business negotiations with the Swiss and contains evaluation of questionnaires that were filled in by Czech employees who cooperate with the Swiss on a daily basis.
