After implantation of the 71Ge radiotracer in the coarse-grained binary magnesium alloy Mg-1.8 wt.% Al, tracer diffusion coefficients were measured using both the serial sectioning and the residual activity technique in temperature region 448–848 K. Po implantaci radioizotopu 71Ge pod povrch hrubozrné binární hořčíkové slitiny Mg-1.8 wt.% Al byly v teplotní oblasti 448-848 K měřeny koeficienty difúze současně metodou postupného ubírání vrstev a metodou zbytkové aktivity.
