Basis of vibration spectroscopy. Principles of FTIR spectrometry. Basis of the interpretation of the spectra. Experimental techniques used in the FTIR spectroscopy. Measurements of the spectra of thin films, membranes, surfaces, polymers, gels, viscous materials, rubbers, clays, powders and porous materials. Principles of reflection techniques (ATR, SR and DRIFTS).
