This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the relationship between Johanna and her mother in the work Nahe Tage. Roman in einer Nacht by Angelika Overath. The first part covers a brief introduction to the topic of mother-daughter relationships in contemporary literature, language, psychology and the theory of sibling constellations. The main part focuses on the relationship analysis in the aforementioned novel. First and foremost, attention is given to the characterization of the mother, the way she brings her daughter up and her influence. The protagonists' roles in the family and their communication are mentioned as well. Last but not least, both main characters are described from the perspective of the theory of sibling constellations. The thesis might contribute to better understanding of the work and the topic of mother-daughter relationships. Roman in einer Nacht Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou a interpretací vztahu mezi Johanou a její matkou v díle Nahe Tage. Roman in einer Nacht od autorky Angeliky Overathové. První část zahrnuje stručný úvod do problematiky vztahů dcer a matek v současné literatuře, jazyk, psychologii, a teorii sourozeneckých konstelací. Hlavní část se zaměřuje na samotnou analýzu vztahu ve zmíněném románu. Pozornost je věnována především charakteristice matky, její výchově a vlivu na dceru. Zmíněné jsou i role hrdinek v rámci rodiny a jejich komunikace. V neposlední řadě jsou obě hlavní postavy popsány z pohledu teorie sourozeneckých konstelací.
