Tato práce se zabývá zhodnocením stavu a postavením fyzické geografie z hlediska kvantity a kvality obsahu, grafiky a didaktické vybavenosti v současných českých učebnicích pro základní školy a nižší stupeň gymnázií. K řešení daného problému byla stanovena kritéria kterými byly učebnice posuzovány. Jednotlivými kritérii byly zkoumány kategorie: rozsah a míra dílčích oborů fyzické geografie, množství didaktických úloh, mezipředmětových vazeb, průřezových témat, grafických příloh a v neposlední řadě obsahová správnost pojmů a termínů. Na základě zjištěných údajů je možné u hodnocených učebnic říci, jak si tyto učebnice stojí z hlediska jednotlivých kategorií. Údaje byly zpracovány dle stanovených kritérií a zjištěná data pomocí jednoduchých popisných statistik. Výsledky této práce umožňují posouzení učebnic z mnoha různých pohledů. Z hlediska didaktické vybavenosti byly pozitivně hodnoceny učebnice nakladatelství Fraus (Červený J. a kol., 2007, 2009), naopak z hlediska množství pojmů to byly učebnice nakladatelství Prodos (Voženílek V., Demek J., 2007, 2013). Vytvořené řešení poskytuje vyučujícím přehled, jak si v různých kategoriích učebnice stojí a mohlo by přispět k rozhodnutí, která z učebnic se pro koncepci jejich výuky bude hodit nejlépe. This thesis evaluates the condition and status of physical geography in terms of quantity and quality of content, graphics and didactic in contemporary Czech textbooks for primary schools and lower grammar schools. To address the topic, specific textbook categories were selected and evaluated. We examined the scope and extent of sub-disciplines of physical geography, the number of didactic exercises, curricular links and theme context, graphic attachments and the accuracy of the content and terminology in the particular categories. Based on the evaluated data, it is possible to assess the rank of the examined textbooks in terms of the selected categories. The data was processed according the selected criteria and simple descriptive statistics. In terms of educational facilities have been positively evaluated by textbook publishers Fraus (Red, J. et al., 2007, 2009 ), while in terms of concepts that were textbook publishers Prodos (Voženílek V., Demek J. 2007, 2013) . The results of this thesis allow assessing the textbooks from different perspectives. The solution, presented in this thesis, will provide teachers with an overview of standing of different categories in given textbook. This could help the teachers to decide, which textbook fits the particular concept of their classes and teaching. Key...
