V příspěvku jsou porovnány experimentálně zjištěné rychlostní profily ve dvourozměrném impaktním proudu s numerickými výsledky, získanými komerčním řešičem Fluent. Experimentální data byla získána termoanemometrem se žhaveným drátkem, pro výpočty byly použity modely turbulence k-SST a RSM. Porovnání bylo provedeno pro Reynoldsova čísla 2800, 8400 a 14000, přičemž Re bylo vztaženo k hydraulickému průměru trysky a střední objemové rychlosti tryskou. In the contribution, the experimentally obtained and the numerically computed data in a two- dimensional impinging jet flow are compared. The calculations were performed using a commercial solver Fluent v. 6.1, while the experimental data were obtained using a hot- wire probe. In the calculations, both the k-SST and the RSM models of turbulence were employed. The comparison has been done for three various jet hydraulic diamater and jet mean velocity based Reynolds numbers, 2800, 8400 and 1400, respectively.
