Tématem této diplomové práce je žánr novely a to konkrétně jeho vývoj od středověku do 17. století na území Itálie. Cílem práce je: 1. vytvořit panoramatický přehled nejvýznamnějších autorů novel, jejich děl, poukázat na stylistické a jazykové prostředky, které autoři používají a ukázat, jak se tyto mění napříč staletími. 2. na části vybraných textů poukázat na fixní a proměnlivé prvky, které se v novelách ve výše zmiňovaném období objevují. The objective of this thesis is: 1. Create a panoramic view of the most important "novella" authors and their writings, show their language and stylistic device which they use and show how those change throughout the centuries. 2.
