Abstract: Let us consider the zero range process with the symmetric random walk on a binary tree as the single particle law. The paper bring out an estimate of a rate of convergence of this process to equilibrium in the following sense. We find a lower bound of a spectral gap of finite volume processes. We distinguish two classes of speed function.
